What Broadsight Connect Is
Broadsight Connect is an AI-powered voice and SMS service that helps businesses handle incoming calls and text messages. When someone calls or texts a Broadsight Connect number, our AI agent answers, triages the request, and routes it to the right person.
Using Broadsight Connect
Creating an Account
When you sign up, you provide a phone number and optionally an email. Your account is yours — don't share your login credentials. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the service. If you use the service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind it.
Trial Accounts
Trial accounts are free. No credit card required. We'll tell you before any trial period ends and before we'd charge you.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use Broadsight Connect for lawful purposes only. Specifically:
- Don't use the service to harass, impersonate, or deceive anyone
- Don't use the service for spam, scams, or unsolicited marketing
- Don't try to break, exploit, or reverse-engineer the service
- Don't use the service for emergency services (911, fire, police) — it is not a replacement for 9-1-1
Our Service
What We Provide
Broadsight Connect provides an AI-powered call and SMS handling service. The agent answers incoming calls, classifies issues, collects information, and routes requests to designated contacts. We strive for accuracy but the AI may make mistakes — always verify critical information.
No Emergency Services
Broadsight Connect is not a 9-1-1 service. If you have a genuine emergency, call 9-1-1 immediately. Do not rely on Broadsight Connect for life-threatening situations.
Availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime, but no service is perfect. We may need to perform maintenance, and outages can happen. We'll communicate planned downtime in advance.
SMS/MMS Program Terms
These terms govern text messages sent by Broadsight Connect to your phone number. By opting in, you agree to these terms.
What the program is
- Service line: you text requests to us, and our automated agent or a specialist replies, and may send you status updates about your request.
- Admin line: we send one-time passcodes to verify your identity when you access administrative features.
How you consent (opt-in)
You may opt in to receive text messages by any of these methods:
- Verbal — you agree during a phone call with our agent (calls are recorded)
- Web form — you check the consent box in our portal or web form
- Text — you initiate a text conversation with one of our lines, or text a keyword we provide
Consent is never a condition of purchasing any product or service.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies. In general, we send only a small number of messages per week, and only in response to your requests or to update you on them. One-time passcodes are sent only when you request them.
Opting out
Reply STOP to any text message to opt out of future texts from that line. You will receive one confirmation message that no further messages will be sent. For help, reply HELP or contact us at legal@broadsight.io.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply depending on your carrier and plan.
Carrier disclaimer
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Wireless carriers are not responsible for undelivered messages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Broadsight Connect and its officers, employees, and service providers from any claim, loss, or liability (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of:
- your unlawful recording, interception, or disclosure of calls, including failure to obtain consent required by applicable recording laws,
- your mismanagement, misuse, or unauthorized disclosure of call recordings, transcripts, or other data handled through the service, or
- your breach of these terms or applicable law in connection with the service.
This clause does not cover claims arising from Broadsight Connect's own negligence or willful misconduct.
No Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated responses will be accurate or complete. Always verify critical information.
Payments and Billing
Current Status
Broadsight Connect is currently in trial/beta. There are no paid plans yet. When paid plans are introduced, we'll notify you in advance and give you the option to cancel before any charges apply.
Future Plans
When we introduce paid plans, those terms will govern pricing, payment, and cancellation. You'll have at least 30 days' notice before any changes take effect.
Data and Privacy
Broadsight Connect handles calls and SMS messages containing information from callers and account holders. We take this responsibility seriously.
- We collect only what we need to provide the service
- Call recordings and transcripts are stored securely
- We don't sell your data or your users' data
- We don't use your data to train third-party models
- You can request deletion of your data at any time

Termination
You can stop using Broadsight Connect at any time by contacting us. We can suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, and we'll tell you why.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Broadsight Connect's total liability arising out of or related to these terms or the service shall not exceed the greater of $100 or the fees paid by you in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. In no event shall Broadsight Connect be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, property damage, or data loss, even if advised of the possibility. This section does not limit liability for our gross negligence, willful misconduct, or where prohibited by law, and does not affect your statutory rights.
Governing Law and Venue
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Atlanta, Georgia for any matter not subject to arbitration.
Arbitration and Class Action Waiver
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or the service shall be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its applicable rules, before a single arbitrator in Atlanta, Georgia. YOU AND BROADSIGHT CONNECT AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS ONLY IN ITS INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION. You may opt out of this arbitration provision within 30 days of first accepting these terms by emailing legal@broadsight.io.
General
- Severability — if any provision of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
- No waiver — our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment — you may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them.
- Entire agreement — these terms, together with the Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Broadsight Connect.
- Notices — notices to Broadsight Connect go to legal@broadsight.io.
- Third-party links — the service may link to third-party websites or services; we are not responsible for their content or practices.
- Force majeure — we are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, power outages, carrier or internet outages, or acts of government.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms. If the changes are material, we'll notify you via email or SMS at least 30 days in advance. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
